Description:

Focus will be on all aspects of shooting and puck control. For shooting; proper weight shift, follow through, power, and accuracy on all shots. Wrist, Snap, Slap and Backhand shots will be broken down so that each student understands how each shot works, and when to use it. Students will start with 60 minutes of instruction in our Snipers Den shooting range and then spend 90 minutes on the ice working on the techniques they learned. Training aids such as Radar guns, Targets and Heavy Pucks will also be used to help improve accuracy and power. Students will shoot over a thousand pucks during this camp. While in the Snipers Den, students will also work on dynamic puck control drills that will help improved their overall ability to be more proficient with the puck. 

STUDENTS WILL BE GROUPED BY AGE AND CALIBER AND WILL TRAIN ON SHOOTING METHODS AND TECHNIQUES APPROPRIATE TO THEIR SPECIFIC LEVEL.
