1:00pm-1:45pm – 45 minutes Shooting Instruction in Snipers Den Shooting Range
2:00 – 4:00pm – 2 hours On Ice Instruction
On Ice Instruction: 10 hrs
Shooting instruction in Snipers Den: 4.25 hrs
Ages: 2017 AAA – 2010 Sel, A-AAA (2017 players must qualify)

Description
On Ice Instruction
This program will provide all the skills needed to become a solid defensemen that can break up the play then turn it up the other way. All of the essential defensive skills will be covered including, backwards skating (including cross-overs, acceleration & pivots), 1 on 1’s, 2 on 1’s, gap control, breakout passes, evasive turns and transitional play. All shooting situations will also be taught including, pulling the puck off the boards from the point, one timers and trapping bouncing pucks. Body contact situations include, angling, straight-up hitting, stepping up and containing.
Shooting Instruction
Players will receive 45 minutes of shooting instruction in our 1800 sq ft synthetic ice shooting range, the Snipers Den. Since opening in April 2024, the Snipers Den has been incredibly popular with our students and has been an excellent addition to our program.
In the Snipers Den, our staff are able to break down and correct shooting techniques and inefficiencies that prevent
players from achieving their “best shot”. Students will shoot hundreds of puck and have a ton of fun at the same time.
We also like to end each camp on with a fun Mini-Sticks game on Fridays. So if your child has a Mini-Stick, please make sure to bring it with you.

To reach your full potential as a player it helps to be technically sound in the four core aspects of hockey. Learn the correct way to skate, shoot, puck handle and pass at a young age and these skills will stay with you forever and make the rest of the game much easier. World Class Hockey does a great job at teaching and demonstrating these skills while focusing on being technically correct. I would recommend Jules Jardine and his program to anyone looking to improve their overall skill level.
